Copper and wood grain are a winning combination in my book. When I read about at-home steam bending using just a glass of water and a microwave, I obviously had to try it, and I thought some plain old copper wire would make for an easy inlay. These two rings are bent, layered birch veneer, constructed and finished with CA glue, with copper wire inlays, which I set in with CA glue, filed down, and finished the same as the rest of the ring, sanded to about 12000 and polished with local beeswax.
